The Varityper is descended from the [[Hammond Typewriter]]. It is an electrified version. The Varityper was designed for making neat final copies of documents. The Varityper is especially effective at right justification, having different types of print on pages, and typing in different pitches too. The entirety of the machine is not electric, but it does have electrically powered mechanisms in it. Namely the printing action.
