History & Basic Info
The Varityper is descended from the [Hammond Typewriter]. It is an electrified version. The Varityper was designed for making neat documents.
Common Issues
Because they are electric, these machines often have issues. Line cords on 40's and 50's machines need to be replaced, as they are a fire hazard. Motors will get dirty and gum up, but they are designed to be taken out and apart and cleaned.
